Earth Hour- joining the world in turning off our lights

Student jobs in the classrooms
CRES students are responsible for classroom jobs to save energy, such as light helper or computer monitor.
Turning off the lights to save energy
Students label light switches throughout the school with signs encouraging energy conservation and reducing our impact on climate change.

New energy efficient lights
100% of our lights were switched out for energy efficient lighting in February 2016.
Conserving energy- Lights
Students created light switch posters throughout the school. Students within the classrooms have followed the signs consistently. Lights are out whenever classroom is not being used & when document camera is being used.
classroom jobs - recycle Captain & Light Patrol
Students have jobs to turn off lights, close blinds & placing computers in sleep mode when not in use.
We conserve and aren't wasteful
Green team students have created signs to not waste paper towels. They hung them up in the grade level pods and in the bathrooms.
